 The Corrs | Honorary MBE This Monday (Nov 7th) the British Ambassador, Stewart Eldon, will be awarding the Corrs with an Honorary MBE in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the music industry and of their charitable contributions. Commenting on the award he said "I am delighted that The Corrs' immense musical contribution has been highlighted in this way. I am sure their many fans around the world will be delighted to hear that they are getting the recognition so richly deserved." |
IFTA 2005 and Ondas Awards
Andrea will be attending this year’s Irish Film & Television Awards where she has been nominated for the "Best Actress in a Feature Film" award for her role in "The Boys & Girl From County Clare". She is absolutely delighted and honoured by the nomination. Those of you in Ireland can see the Awards on Saturday November 5th at 9.30pm on RTE One. Don't forget that the band will be performing at the Ondas Awards in Spain where they will also be picking up the Special Jury Award. You can see the awards ceremony on November 3rd at 8.00pm on Canal Plus Spain. For more details about the Ondas awards check out their website.
The Late, Late Show
Next Friday (Nov 11th) those of you in Ireland will be able to see the band when they join Pat Kenny on the Late, Late Show. The show starts on RTE One after the nine o’clock news.
