For a laptop musician, Four Tet wields one mighty mouse. A pioneer of the folktronica sound, Four Tet's latest opus Everything Ecstatic forged new pathways of frenetic prettiness and garnered rave reviews from many a music lover. Now the record is getting an exciting DVD/CD re-release from Domino Records. Coming in "beautiful fold-out card DVD packaging," the DVD portion will feature a video for all ten songs on the original LP.

The CD portion, Everything Ecstatic Part 2, will feature five new songs, including two remakes and three new tracks. The DVD/CD will be out November 7 in the UK, and January 24 in the US, but you can be pre-order it right now at the Domino Records store.

For the vinyl collectors out there, Four Tet also just released his latest single "A Joy." The 12" (it also comes in a limited series of three 7"s) features rhymes from old school rapper Percee-P and remixes from Koushik and Battles.
