BID ON A GUITAR + LESSON FROM VIV
On November 13, charity organization Create Now! is having an benefit event at the Improv Comedy Club in Hollywood, which includes an auction that gives you the chance to bid on a Gibson Epiphone Les Paul signed by Vivian, plus a private guitar lesson from Viv. Among the other items auctioned, are various pieces of art and another Les Paul, signed by Slash (Velvet Revolver). The evening will be hosted by Debra Wilson ("MAD-TV") and many comedians will attend (Carlos Mencia, Mark Curry, Steve Trevino, Tony Rock, among others). For all details on the event, click here.
Create Now! is an independent, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, changing troubled children's lives through creative arts mentoring. The organization serves institutionalized high-risk and at-risk children and youth aged 2 to 21 who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, are left homeless, runaways, or part of the juvenile justice system.
LEPPARD JOINS TRICK
To celebrate the last time Cheap Trick opened for Def Leppard on this tour, members of both bands shared the stage during Cheap Trick's set in Albuquerque this past Wednesday. Joe, Phil and Vivian joined in to play along with "SURRENDER", one of the band's biggest hits of their career. Check out some photos below (apologies to Vivian -- no one got a shot of him this time!)
