CIE Argentina Announces Change Of Venue For Upcoming Pearl Jam Buenos Aires Dates

Buenos Aires, November 17, 2005 - CIE Argentina announced today that the upcoming Buenos Aires concerts of Pearl Jam, multi-platinum Rock & Roll superstars from Seattle, slated for November 25 & 26, 2005, will have a venue change.

The event promoters, CIE Argentina and Pop Art Entertainment, are alerting all concert fans that, due to the unexpected re-scheduling of the football match between the Boca Junior Stadium Club and Universidad Catolica to November 23, the Pearl Jam concerts must be moved from Boca Juniors Stadium to Ferrocarril Oeste Stadium.

Due to the new football match on November 23rd, there would not be enough time to set up the show at Boca Juniors Stadium. The change of venue was a decision made by event promoters to fulfill the technical needs of putting on shows of this size within these time constraints.

Tickets already purchased for Pearl Jam at Boca Juniors will be honored at the Ferrocarril Oeste Stadium. Pearl Jam and their special guest, Mudhoney will begin their performances at 9PM at the new location. Any fan unable to attend the show at the new location may obtain a ticket refund at their place of purchase. The promoters wish to apologize for any inconvenience that this change may have caused any fan. Pearl Jam is looking forward to the shows and continues to express excitement at the approach of its first ever concert in Buenos Aires.

Pearl Jam's Digital Download Bootleg Series Continues on Latin American Tour

SEATTLE - Following the success of their Digital Download Bootleg series that was introduced this fall on the mostly Canadian North American tour, Pearl Jam's Ten Club announces that they will continue this series for the band's upcoming South America and Mexico dates. High quality, digital downloads of Pearl Jam's live shows will be made available exclusively at www.pearljam.com beginning with the band's sold out concert in Santiago, Chile.

The digital downloads will be made available for all of Pearl Jam's 2005 Latin American shows just hours after each show has ended; they will include special downloadable artwork and a slideshow specific to each night's show.

The Latin America tour digital downloads will be professionally mixed in real-time at each show by Pearl Jam's longtime studio and live engineer, Brett Eliason. Eliason's company, Basecamp Productions, developed the software application that delivers and manages digital downloads. Pearl Jam has opted to encode the digital files at a higher than standard bit rate (192k) in an effort to balance manageable file sizes with very good sound quality. The cost is $9.99 USD per show.
