Serving San Diego County since 1880, the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA provides vital services to animals and people alike through sheltering and adopting animals, providing positive reinforcement training for adoptable animals through public training classes, investigating animal cruelty and neglect, providing adult and youth education programs, sharing animals through pet-assisted therapy and rescuing animals in emergency situations. A private nonprofit organization that receives no public or government funding, the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is supported solely by contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the society's antique consignment store in La Jolla (Glorious Antiques) and some fees for service.
With the funds raised from the sale of the box, the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is able to continue to provide these services and programs to help animals and people alike.

As The Rolling Stones' "A Bigger Bang" World Tour prepares to extend past North American borders, The Rolling Stones Fan Club presales are going to be changing a bit in order to ensure that members have an easy, effective, and successful presale experience.
A second show at Las Vegas' MGM Grand has been announced.
The Fan Club has been given an allotment of tickets for this show, which will go on sale to Fan Club Members who joined between July 2004 and May 9th, 2005 on November 8th and on November 9th for New PLATINUM Fan Club Members.
