Sloan | Sloan are wrapping up their touring for the year with a handful of shows in Ontario. Wednesday, Nov. 23, sees they performing two songs at the CASBY awards at Toronto’s Kool Haus. Thursday through to Sunday Sloan will be playing several shows with the Illuminati, whose bass player/singer Nick Sewell was recently voted Toronto's best bassist in NOW magazine's annual Best Of poll. |
One Chris Murphy has been furiously brushing up on his chops for the impending “bass-off” that is sure to ensue.
Finally, Sloan will break tradition and play New Years Eve in the town of Barrie.
These gigs will mark the end of an enjoyable run of shows that saw Sloan playing throughout the US and Canada, including the Coachella festival, two sold out nights at New York's Bowery Ballroom, dates with the Foo Fighters, and numerous other festivals and clubs.
They will continue to support A Sides Win in the new year. New dates will be posted as they are confirmed.
