The Charlatans | The Charlatans have revealed that they have finished work on their new album. The band spent three weeks last month with producer Jim Lowe at London’s Townhouse Studios where they rounded up work on a song called ‘The Road to Paradise.’ The indie-stalwarts will be returning to the studio this month to compile the album and record B-sides for their forthcoming singles. |
Bassist Martin Blunt said through the band’s official website: “In December, details on artwork, release dates, plans for a proposed download and for touring in the new year (which we are very, very excited about) should be posted.”
Speaking about their one-off show in Glasgow in the summer, he said: “It was a special feeling at Glasgow Academy this summer to air new tracks for the first time (‘Always A Clue in a Dead Man’s Eye’ and ‘Blackened Blue Eyes’).
“I know at this point we were itching to play more gigs but the album needed finishing!”
