Franz Ferdinand front man Alex Kapranos will debut his weekly column about food in Glasgow's Guardian this weekend. The column will follow his culinary adventures with riveting tales such as the one about eating mole while visiting Mexico. It, quite wittily, will be called "Soundbites.". In more pertinent news, Franz Ferdinand's sophomore effort, You Could Have it So Much Better is due Oct. 4 from Domino Records. We're hoping Kapranos keeps the crummy puns confined to his column.
