Razorlight Speak About New Album

Razorlight have revealed that their eagerly-anticipated follow up to ‘Up All Night’ is “mostly written”.

The band are currently locked in their own recording studios, called the Modern Condition, working on the album.

Mr skin-tight-jeans Johnny Borrell, told xfm: “It’s mostly written. But we’re constructing it now. We’ve got out own warehouse space to record, our own home, which is called the Modern Condition. So we’re holed up in the Modern Condition, working on it and really enjoying ourselves."Asked when the album will be completed, he added: “Definitely within the next five years.”

Speaking about recording their new track, 'Kirby’s House', for the War Child album, Borrell said working under a strict time-pressure was okay for them.

He said: “Its always like that for us. We never work any other way… When we were making our first single, I’d be doing the vocal and there’d be a motorcycle courier outside waiting to take the CD off so they could take it off to get the video ready
