 Pete Doherty | Morrissey has expressed his fears over the state of Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty. Mozza feels that Doherty might not be able to cope with drugs, and also slammed the way certain sections of the media make light of his addiction. Doherty, of course, has notoriously been hooked to crack in the past and was allegedly shown snorting cocaine with Kate Moss while recording his debut Babyshambles album. It’s not clear whether he has managed to yet beat the addiction. |
Morrissey said: "I'm not sure he can cope. There's a desperation to him. I sense he's on thin ice.
"It's all very giggle-worthy for NME to report two hours after a gig that he's in a crack house in Glasgow but I don't find that amusing."
