Motley Crue return despite injury

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil has returned to the stage after tearing a calf muscle during a US concert.
A spokeswoman said Neil performed with no problems on Sunday night in Memphis, Tennessee, after injuring himself in a show two days earlier in Atlanta.

It forced the band to end that concert - part their Carnival of Sins tour.

"I just felt something snap in my leg. I couldn't go on," Neil said on the US band's website. He was treated in hospital and released a day later.

'Cannot jump around'

No shows in the band's world tour - which marks their reunion after six years part - will be cancelled because of the injury.

The band's bassist Nikki Sixx said at the time: "He will be able to perform, but can't really jump around until it heals. Luckily, we have a few days off here and there for him to recover."

Band members said they planned to return to Atlanta for an extra show to compensate for Friday's early finish.

Motley Crue are best known for their hedonistic lifestyle and 1980s hits including Girls, Girls, Girls.
