New War Child album

Radiohead, Gorillaz and more record new music for compulation
The UK-based War Child Charity, which provides health and education for children in war zone areas throughout the world, will be releaseing a compilation entitled "Help: A Day In the Life".


The idea behind the compilation was too have some of the most popular musical acts in Europe go into the recording studio and cut a brand new song for the record in one day and then release it to the world. Some of the bands contributing to this include Radiohead, Belle and Sebastian, Damien Rice, Elbow, Gorillaz, The Go! Team, Razorlight, and more. Bands like Kaiser Cheifs and Keane will be contributing cover versions for the album.

The songs will be available for download on the War Child website on September 9th, and it will be available in stores on September 26th.
