![]() Pixies | The Pixies may make a new record, or just keep milking their legacy, after a set of new songs are written. Front man Frank Black told Billboard that his band mates are split on the idea of making a new record, saying some fear they may end up issuing a sub-par album simply to meet contractual obligations. The alt-rock icons are set to start writing new songs for consideration for the record that's under consideration. Black told the magazine that members of the band "don't want to mess with the legacy" of The Pixies with a new album. The band's been entirely enthusiastic about cashing in on that legacy, with a string of live releases and an extended comeback tour. |
