For those of you who don’t know who Imelda Marcos is, she was the wife of former Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos and reputedly owned over 3,000 pairs of shoes.

U2 said through their official website, “It’s a piece of rock n’ roll history… That was a night to remember.”
