Deerhoof's Runners Four On Vinyl

Deerhoof
Cuddly spazz-pop-turned-indie-pop quartet Deerhoof (*) will release a vinyl edition of their latest record, The Runners Four, on their own label.

In an email to CMJ, guitarist Chris Cohen said that while the band is still searching for a distributor, the record will definitely be pressed and ready to go by mid-December.

According to the band's publicist, the double gatefold LP (with vinyl-exclusive artwork) will be released under the "Children Of The Hoof Music" label.

The Runners Four will have an initial pressing of 1,100 copies, which means it should be easy enough to pick up a copy for each milkperson on your shopping list, though Kill Rock Stars reports that the band plans on selling most copies of the record out on the road.

Deerhoof still have tour dates posted for North America in November.
