Okkervil River | Okkervil River will be playing the first headlining US tour in years! In anticipation of a companion mini-album entitled Black Sheep Boy Appendix, Okkervil River are coming back to the states with the "No Key, No Plan" Tour, kicking off October 19 in Marfa, TX. To reward fans, the band has kindly set up an e-mail address: requests@jound.com and are accepting requests from any of their records. Just don't get too cheeky with that Stars stuff. |
Okkervil River is, on different parts of the tour, taking along such highly regarded artists as songwriter Charles Bissell from The Wrens, as well fellow Jagjaguwar band Minus Story, Philadelphia area Man Man, and new Sub Pop signing Band of Horses. Just heading back from a European Tour, the band's only plan is to cover the country (and about every college town) with their unique brand of somber, lo-fi rock.
