Bono and Bob Geldof are hotly tipped by bookmakers to scoop the Nobel Peace Prize next month. When the nominees were announced two months ago both were 66-1 to win the award. However, as the BBC reports, bookies are now touting them at 7-1. They are amongst 166 nominees named as contenders nominated for the prestigious award
However, current favourite for the award is Finnish president Martti Ahtissari who brokered a peace deal in Indonesia. He currently stands at 4-1.
