Queens of the Stone Age DVD looming

Queens Of The Stone Age
The band's first ever live concert release.

Queens Of the Stone Age have today confirmed details of a forthcoming live album and DVD, featuring a selection of new songs.

"Over The Years and Through The Woods", which has a release date of Nov. 22, will feature tracks from each of their studio albums on the live stage, along with the band new cut "Fun Machine" and the previously released "Make It Wit Chu", taken from frontman Josh Homme's Desert Sessions.

Weighing in at three and a half hours, the set mixes live, rare and acoustic performances with behind the scenes footage - which features many of the band's friends and touring partners. Dave Grohl, Mark Lanegan, Billy Gibbons and former Queens bassist Nick Olivieri all make an appearance. The set will also feature 75 minutes of audio for listening away from the TV.
